Finance
This summer, in late July, we’re kicking off a low barrier once-a-week 5-week finance ‘Coffee and Chat’ program. We are looking for 4-5 teenagers in grade 11 or grade 12. 1 hour every Friday or Saturday at Yayu Cafe. ‘The program’ is simple. Chat and talk about anything you want regarding stocks and finance. Drinks and snacks are on us! At the end, one student from each program will win $1000 (donated by local businesses), depending on how well they do at picking hypothetical stocks. The only criterion is filling out a short paragraph online on why you want to be a part of it, and whether or not you have a part-time/full-time job somewhere to show you’re motivated.
Please click the link below and start your application process. We will be choosing the participants in the coming weeks.
